Bring a touch of coastal folklore to your windows with this distinctive design, adapted by the Brume studio from the original ceramic artwork of Cornish artist Russell Martin as part of our Picture Windows collection.
Inspired by the rugged beauty, storytelling and coastal spirit of Cornwall, Russell’s hand-built ceramics are created using the intricate sgraffito technique — where detailed illustrations are carefully carved through layers of clay to reveal contrasting surfaces beneath. Working in collaboration with the artist, the Brume studio has thoughtfully translated these original curved ceramic artworks for flat glass, preserving their character, texture and quiet narrative charm.
Printed on our premium white frosted window film and made to measure for your glass, this design combines privacy with natural light — practical enough for everyday living, beautiful enough to become a focal point.
Colour Options
Choose between two finishes:
Dark Grey with Red Highlights
A richly detailed interpretation of the original artwork, with subtle red accents that bring warmth, character and a touch of storytelling to the design.
Dark Grey
A quieter, more understated version of the design without red highlights — ideal if you prefer a softer, more subtle decorative effect.
This design is printed onto our premium frosted white film, combining privacy with beautifully diffused natural light.
Made to Measure
Each design is custom made to fit your window dimensions.
Because every window is different, some slight cropping or adjustment to the artwork may be needed to suit your proportions while preserving the integrity of the design. We’ll always send a proof for approval before production begins.
Sustainable & Practical
Printed in our Devon studio using eco-friendly latex inks, this film is durable, odourless and produced with sustainability in mind.
Our premium frosted film provides privacy both day and night while still allowing plenty of natural light to filter through — offering the perfect balance of practicality and decoration.
Sampling Recommended
As light conditions and surroundings can subtly affect how the finished design appears, we always recommend ordering a sample first to see the finish in your own space.
