Picture Windows by Angela Harding : The Art of Light

Picture Windows by Angela Harding : The Art of Light

There’s something magical about light passing through glass — the way it shifts and changes through the day. When Brume set out to collaborate with printmaker Angela Harding, it was with that sense of movement in mind.

Angela’s prints — from the gentle rhythm of Seal Song to the soaring grace of Avocets at Blakeney — are inspired by the natural world and the quiet poetry of British landscapes. Her work, recently celebrated on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, has a timeless quality that connects deeply with people who find beauty in stillness and nature.

Now, those same designs can live on your windows, printed onto our premium frosted film to create a new kind of artwork: a Picture Window.

Each piece is made to measure in our Devon studio using eco-friendly inks, so it fits your window perfectly and diffuses the light beautifully. The result is a room transformed — softly patterned by nature’s rhythm.

You can choose between Soft Grey , for a subtle, classic etched-glass look, or White , for a luminous, more statement finish. And for those who love flexibility, the Swallows in Flight Set offers 12 reusable motifs you can arrange however you wish — ideal for adding movement to your windows or to help protect birds from window strikes.

“These designs connect us to the wildness we crave,” says Angela. “Seeing them alive in light feels like a natural extension of my work.”

Each film is printed to order, carefully packed, and designed to last — a simple, sustainable way to bring art into your everyday space.
