Adding light

Adding light
News | 4th August 2011

This hallway caught my eye.  I love the modern door but adding the panel along the full height at the side brings in so much extra light. This panel is sandblasted but it could easily be Brume window film. I'd be tempted to cut the house number in the top too, rather than add anything to the door.

Etched glass has a classic, timeless look that's become increasingly popular in the past few years.  Until recently, etched glass has been the only way to obscure glass panels without screening out sunlight.  A dark, dingy hallway is never the most welcoming to come home to, but etched glass is a very expensive feature both to manufacture and install.

Brume window film is the perfect alternative.  Inexpensive and easy to install thanks to the peel-away self-adhesive backing, vinyl window film gives you the attractive appearance of sandblasted glass with none of the associated high cost.
