Took a trip to sunny Margate - what a wonderful beach! Had delicious lunch at the Turner Contemporary and spent a very pleasant and inspiring time wandering around the galleries and taking in the view. 

The installation on the stairs particularly caught my eye - entitled 'After Turner' by Douglas Gordon, it's another image to add to our 'writing on the stairs' catalogue and quite different from our take on the subject.   

I love typography but I know how hard it is to do well, especially on a wall or stairs. Brume has made this all so much easier by supplying vinyl cut to size and spaced correctly, so all you need to do is make sure you have a level line to work to. The hard bit is deciding what you want to say!
